We are proud of our long tradition of organizing sporting events as well as tradition of excellent sports achievements. This May we are honored to have the opportunity to host big sporting event like Samsung World Rowing Cup.
The city of Belgrade has been in preparation to welcome most succesfull rowers of the world and present itself in the best light both as host and organizer of the event. It is an honour to host an event that promotes fairplay, with 1500 participants and about 50 national teams from all around the world. This is as well a great responsibility, therefore I would like to thank those who have been committted and worked hard to make this competition possible and in accordance with highest standards.
Samsung World Rowing Cup is of great importance to rowing in Serbia as well as chance to present and introduce rowing to sports fans. In addition, this is an opportunity for Serbia to offer its well known hospitality and beauty of our culture and tourism. I strongly believe that our guests will enjoy their Belgrade experience and bring back impression of Serbia as country of excellent sports and intelligent and hardworking people.
To all participants I wish the best of luck and accomplishment of their goals. Continue promoting right values and being a role model for young sportsmen to look up to.

The Samsung World Rowing Cup I will take place in Belgrade, May 4-6 2012 under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Serbia and the City of Belgrade.
After successfully organizing the Nations Cup in 2003, the World University Championships in 2008, the Serbian Rowing Federation is proud to welcome You to participate at the Samsung World Rowing Cup I in 2012.
The Ada Ciganlija rowing and kayak venue has hosted many international regattas and World and European Championships since its construction in the 1960's. Over the years, significant improvements of the venue have been made, and it is now ready to host the World's best rowers.
